Stretch Marks – Learn About Your Enemy and Kill Them
Generally, stretch marks referred to as striae methodically. According to dermatologists they are tiny tears on the skin which occurs when the flexible fibers which connect the skin mutually stretches over a part of the body which is developing very fast. The main occurrence of these marks is usually during pregnancy for women. Studies have proven that about 80 to 95 % of women have ability to build up stretch marks during this course.

Though, men are also affected by the stretch marks. The rapid gain or loss of a large amount of weight, in a very small period of time, can also be the reason for their skin to tear. Additionally, body builders are also affected by these marks. Men, who regularly lift weights, get muscle mass very rapidly. This can injure their collagen causing it to pull and tear.
In several cases, stretch marks also appear to turn out to be more noticeable as they get older. The main reason behind it is that scar cells have less pigment in them. As a result, when exposed to daylight, they usually don’t grow dim similar to the nearby unaffected skin does when exposed to the daylight. This brightness contrasted to the normal skin around them is what makes them more visible to the eyes.
